This film shows an athlete in her element. In climbing gear, I had to follow her up the steep face and, unlike the extreme athlete, I still had to hold the camera. In a calm way it is shown how sport becomes love and why one voluntarily puts oneself into danger. This film has twice been included in the official selection of well-known film festivals.

Without any climbing experience, I was faced with the challenge of bringing my equipment up a mountain and then rappelling it down there. I was hanging on the rope twenty meters above the ground and had to focus exclusively on the film. Also in the postproduction, I had to create a calm but exciting mood.
The film deals with the topic of freedom, which is perceived differently from person to person. This project was made in a team with Sabine Probst and Christina Grill. Also all Pictures on this site and the title picture are taken by Sabine Probst
